Participant Recruitment

Recruiting subjects is essential to the success of clinical trials.

Recruiting and retaining participants through study completion is frequently more difficult than expected. This session will explore methods of recruitment and retention, use of the EHR, and new ways to engage participants to ensure successful and statistically significant studies.

Contracting Network

Contracting offices face increasing pressure to improve turnaround times for clinical trial contract negotiation.

This session will explore expansion of master contracts, strategies to improve interactions with clinical research organizations (CROs), and "BRAID-storming" on ways to facilitate the increasing mix of PI-initiated studies.

IRB
Network

The regulatory landscape is changing faster than it has in decades.

A mandate by the NIH will require single-IRB review for any federally-funded studies by May 2017. This session will focus on the challenges our network faces in implementing single-IRB, and how to guide investigators through those uncharted waters.
